2015 Mercury Direct in Gemini – Dealing With Facts

Today’s the day many of you have been waiting for. Mercury in Gemini ends its retrograde and turns back to direct motion at 3:33p PDT! The time for listening for and being receptive to the messages being communicated to you is winding down, and opportunities for making your voice heard are coming forth soon.

There’s a reason I say “soon” – it’ll take a little bit for Mercury to get back up to speed. It won’t take long, though, as Mercury continues to be its fast thinking, fast talking, and quick witted self at home in its home sign of Gemini. Like a car making a u-turn, it needs to slow down to make the turn, but it will get itself going at full speed rather quickly. Continue reading

The 2015 Sagittarius Full Moon “After-Party” – A Double Lunar Grand Trine and the Other Retrograde (Ceres)

So the big celebrity event of the astrological day yesterday, 2nd June 2015, was the Sagittarius Full Moon that was at its fullest phase at 9:19a PDT. In my previous post, I noted that the Sagittarius Moon was also a player in two lunar mutable t-square configurations leading up to the Moon’s maximum full phase – one at 3:28a PDT, and the other at 7:24a PDT. I mentioned that there were quite a few truths factual and emotional that would come to Light and need to be addressed during the course of the day & for a couple of days before and after.

What I didn’t mention in the Full Moon post is that the T-squares and the Full Moon were not the only big events of the day. There was a LOT of transit activity yesterday. I chose to focus on what I thought would be most significant when discussing the Full Moon, yet there was so much more.

Later, as the Sagittarius Full Moon made its second (post-maximum) appearance in the night sky last night, there were a few more astrological events of note. Continue reading

The 2015 Sagittarius Full Moon – (We’ve Got) Two T-Squares and a Retrograde

Full Moon - May 2015 - 20150502_212609The Sagittarius Full Moon is always an interesting time because the Gemini Sun shines its light of intellectual inquiry and theory upon the equally intellectual yet adventurous Sagittarius Moon. Gemini ‘s childlike curiosity and impetuous logic seeks to be satiated by the emotional wisdom of Sagittarius’ life experience.

The Gemini Sun says “These are the theories and ideas I’ve deducted (or made up) – I may or may not have actually done these yet, so they might be true.” The Sagittarius Moon says “I’ll take your theories and ideas, and I’ll test them out – I’ll find out what about them is really true, what the facts are, and how it feels to experience them emotionally.”

The Sagittarius Moon then comes back and says “This is my actual emotional experience of your theories and ideas.” The Gemini Sun says “Great! Share with me or teach me about your experiences so I can learn from them and develop or expand my intellectual process from it.”

However, this 2015 edition of the Sagittarius Full Moon – exact at 9:19a PDT on Tuesday, 2nd June 2015 (11.82°), is especially interesting because there are TWO mutable energy lunar t-square configurations with Neptune in Pisces at the pivot point occurring prior to the Full Moon’s maximum. Mutable mode energy means that the energy being projected has the effect of making people and matters more flexible and new ideas and perspectives more easily adaptable. Think of branches bending in the wind or water running around stones in a brook. In the same way, our thoughts, ideas, perspectives, and beliefs can be more easily adjusted or altered under the influence of mutable energy. Continue reading

24 Hours of Self-Awareness: Juno-Jupiter Conjunction, Taurus New Moon, & Mercury Retrograde in Gemini

Quite a bit is happening within a 24-hour period 17th-18th May 2015 , so let’s take a look at what’s going on.

To start, Juno conjuncted Jupiter in Leo at 7:20p PDT on Sunday, 17th May. Felt for about three days prior and continuing to be felt for about three days post, there is an expanding of the collective commitment to creative self-expression. More and more people are beginning to consider their personal and individual ability to make their individual selves known and acknowledged. The call to be make one’s True self known openly to the world is becoming stronger, and more and more people are recognizing how they’ve made it easy or difficult for themselves to do so.

A big part of this revelation is recognizing it’s up to them to figure out how committed they are to creatively and brilliantly making their unique expression of Light known to the world. It’s no one else’s job to make their lives matter. Instead, how committed are they to making their own lives matter to the world? Continue reading
