The Power of Three – Three Grand Trines and Three Planetary Sign Transits (24 March-03 April 2015)

There’s been so much happening astrologically and numerologically over the last couple of weeks! Let’s dive in to recap it all.

The first of the three grand trines during this two-week period was most exact on 24th March (an 8 universal day), and involved Aries Sun, Leo Juno, and Sagittarius Saturn Retrograde making it a fire grand trine. Through this configuration, many of the ways you may be stopping yourself from aligning with your inner truth and your true life path were revealed. You likely experienced a hyper-awareness of the things that have you feeling held back and/or held down in your life. Continue reading

2015 Venus in Taurus – What & Who Do You (Truly) Value Most?

Venus entered the sign of Taurus earlier today, 17th March 2015 at 3:14a PDT. Under its influence, you get to recognize which partnerships make your life easy, comfortable, safe, and secure. That means that for the next 3.5 weeks, you get to assess which of the one-on-one relationships in your life prove most valuable to you.

Taurus is earth fixed energy, and represents what makes you feel solid, safe, secure, and stable in your lifestyle. It’s what is easy for you, what you are comfortable with, and often indicates your “default” lifestyle standards and values.  Even if you don’t really like your lifestyle and/or what composes it, if it’s easy for you to stick with and you’re used to it, you’ll more than likely choose it over any other options presented to you.

That said, it’s usually difficult for you to make changes in the areas of your life that are influenced by Taurus. Taurus, Ceres, and the 2nd house of your personal chart as they reveal how you’re hardwired for comfort and ease regarding your physical-material-financial resource needs. However, though you may not be able to change what’s truly important to you in these matters, under Venus in Taurus you may be able to alter your perception of what is important to you. Venus in Taurus Trine Pluto Retrograde & Opposite Saturn Retrograde – Who’s Got Your Back?

Who can you really count on for lifestyle support?   When I say “lifestyle support”, I mean who are those people who you can count on to pick you up when your car breaks down, or who will loan you that money in a crunch, or who will bring you soup when you’re ill?  Who are those people in your life?  Venus entered the sign of Taurus on 28 May 2014, and while in this sign, Venus brings these types of questions to the fore.

1)      Do you have any of these kinds of people in your life – those who will do their best to be there for you no matter what?

2)      Do you give them the same or comparable support that they give to you?

3)      Do you really share the same or similar lifestyle morals and/or values as they do?

4)      Do you really want the people who do in your life to be in your life, or are you only taking advantage of them as long as they will do things for you?

Venus in Taurus brings us into greater awareness of the partnerships of necessity in our lives.  These are the connections we may think we need to sustain in order to access the lifestyle resources (a.k.a. – the survival needs) we need to live our lives in a way that is comfortable and secure.  Sometimes, we like these relationships to be physically

It is important to remember that Venus is the ruler of Libra – an air element sign – so it can be very emotionally detached in its assessments, despite its association with feminine energy.  It does want to maintain peace, fairness, and aesthetic beauty; however, it wants to do so through truly balanced partnerships.  Venus in Taurus provides you with a lens of objectivity through which to look at your relationships purely on the basis of what is good for your physical-material-financial well-being and comfort.

Venus in Taurus makes a couple of very interesting transits this week.  The first is a trine with Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn at 6:40p on Tuesday 10 June 2014.  The second is an opposition with Saturn Retrograde in Scorpio at 9:08p on Friday 13 June 2014. Continue reading

Venus in Taurus – Standing By You

Venus entered Taurus at 12:25a PDT this morning, and with it, we begin to feel some solid ground beneath our feet after many months of ebb and flow on open water and tests of moving through fire.

The thing is that though there is some earthy goodness in sight, you may be surprised to find that you have not come upon it by your own actions alone.  In fact, your experience of this solid foundation you may have been almost desperate for comes to you courtesy of your one-on-one relationships of all kinds.

With Venus now in Taurus, you now get to experience a grounding and centering of your energy through individuals who are and have been really and truly by your side as you’ve sailed the uncertain seas of Pisces through the fog, steam, and smoke of Aries’ burning passion to arrive in this moment now.  Here in the safety of the port of Taurus, you get to be greeted by these people who never wavered in their trust and faith in you.  We experience a new sense of reality and stability through the people who have been there with you and for you through the whole rough seas experience of the last 5 months.  They stand on the dock, cheering you into port as your ship comes in.

The important thing to remember at this time is that though these people are here to greet us, you also get to receive their welcome.  It is important to acknowledge their presence in our lives and their importance to us.  Taurus is about lifestyle resources – financial, material, and physical, and Venus is about partnership, balance, and mutual benefit.  Extending gratitude to others by acknowledging them in a way that has value to them helps them know just how much you value their presence and role in your own life.  It doesn’t have to be anything major – just a small or simple “thank you” to let them know that you know that you all stood by each other through these last few stormy months.

You may also have met a few new people as you’ve traveled through the challenges of the last few months.  Some of these people may have taken places by your side as well.  Honor them, too, as you take sight of the shore and step off your ship onto the ground.  Thank them for becoming part of your solid foundation as well.

In the midst of Spring – the season of new beginnings, it is a wonderful time to have this Venus in Taurus energy present.  Embrace it, and embrace the people who have been standing by you all along the way as well as those who have come to your side through the journey.

Venus will be in Taurus until May 9th.

Thanks for reading and sharing.  Until next post…

The Spaghetti Test

This astrological moment in the human paradigm of time could be best described as “the spaghetti test”.  You know.  The Italian cooking lore of throwing a few strands of the pasta to the wall to see what sticks, and if it sticks, it’s ready?  Yeah.  That.

Gemini is now being visited by its ruling planet, Mercury, which moved into the sign on Friday 6/3.  The sign of the student mind is now occupied by the planet of speed, agility and communication.  Ideas and thoughts are now flying quickly and abundantly, giving us plenty to think about and plenty to say.  And with Venus and Mars still traveling through Taurus (and Jupiter joining them in Taurus today), there continues to be a great deal of energy focused on our physical-material-financial resources – the substance of our lives.  Your new-found bounty of rapid-fire thoughts and ideas may still be focused on your feelings and actions regarding resource matters.  These may also be questions and thoughts of your own personal value, worth, and self-esteem.

However, your mind may also or alternatively be focused on allowing your creative thoughts and ideas to flow as you consider what you can use to generate your essential or desired resources.

Remember that this is a time of Sun in Gemini and the mental and communicative energies are the dominant energies in play. With Mercury now in Gemini as well, you may find that you’re inclined to share your creative resource-generating thoughts and ideas with others as communication is opening up beginning to flow quickly and easily as well.

In fact, it may be flowing too easily.

With so much on our minds and so much to say, those of us who like to maintain some sort of control or discipline over our minds and mouths may be finding that it’s tough to keep track of everything we are thinking and saying.  We may not be aware of just how many creative ideas we really are generating, or rather, how much mental and verbal spaghetti we are tossing about. We may also be somewhat naive about who we are communicating our ideas to, or rather, who we are sharing our spaghetti with. Some people around us may be enjoying the ‘free meal’.

Letting your energy flow is a wonderful thing.  Yet even in going with the flow, allowing yourself to establish a sense of direction is important.  When you lose track of what you are flowing toward, you may find yourself lost or aimlessly wandering about.  If you are consumed with throwing a lot of ideas out there, it makes it difficult to recognize the strand of spaghetti that is sticking for you – it makes it difficult to see the creative idea that is ready for you to act upon and expand on.

I think back to something mentioned in the New Moon-Eclipse in Gemini blog earlier this week – be careful what you ask for because you may get it.  If you are putting a lot of ideas out there, you are in effect “asking” the Universe for a lot.  Keep in mind: the Universe hears you! As Jupiter moves into Taurus today, you may find that you gradually begin to actually get all that you’ve asked for…but you may not recognize half of what you are getting because you’ve forgotten you asked for it in the first place!

I’m not saying not to create a big dream.  I am not saying not to create freely and often.

What I am saying is create smart.  I am saying create with intention.  Keep track of your creative ideas and communications.

I am saying remember what you’re cooking for dinner and who you are cooking for.

With all of that said, tomorrow is the 1st anniversary of Life By Soul.  Born with Gemini in its 5th house of joy and pleasure, its existence is rooted in the enjoyment of shining its Light through its communication of information.  As a 6 life path, its intention is to nurture and heal.  And I find myself asking, “Have I allowed my practice to radiate its truth?”

I’ve been looking back over the last 12 months to see if I have honored Life By Soul’s natal intention to nurture and heal through the communication of the information I am able to draw from the charts and cards I read.  I’ve been looking to see if I have allowed its intention of awakening deep-seated purpose and life-affirming transformation to take hold.

I realize that I’ve allowed Life By Soul‘s  intention to be expressed in fits and spurts, but I haven’t really allowed it to flow freely and be fully known.  There have been times in the last year where I lost track of what I was committed to and what my intention was with my practice. I recognize how throughout most of the year, I kept throwing spaghetti to the wall well before it was done, trying to make things stick that weren’t true to Life By Soul or to myself.  As much as I am grateful for all I have learned in my experience of this first year of starting this practice, I’ve also come to recognize that it is time for an adjustment – a clarification of course.

So that is what I’ve been up to and continue to be up to today – clarifying the message of Life By Soul, making sure that you know what I know about what is possible for all of us through the work I am blessed to do.  There will be more blog posts, more tweets, more depth, and more Life coming forth!  I am excited to share the renewed intention, purpose and message of Life By Soul with you very soon and for many years to come!

Stay tuned…
