Sun in Virgo Trine Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn – The Promise of Practical Planning

There have been many changes in the last few months, weeks, and days.  However, thanks to the Virgo Sun being in trine aspect to Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn exact at 1:46a PDT this morning of September 1st, 2013, we may now have an opportunity to get a grip on a few things.
With this Earth…

Sun in Virgo Trine Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn – The Promise of Practical Planning

There have been many changes in the last few months, weeks, and days.  However, thanks to the Virgo Sun being in trine aspect to Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn exact at 1:46a PDT this morning of September 1st, 2013, we may now have an opportunity to get a grip on a few things.

With this Earth energy trine, you are being given an opportunity to create a plan to provide some structure for the next steps of your life, whatever those may be.  By forming a plan, you can create a board…think of it as a “surfboard” upon which you can “surf” the waves of change.

That said, the specific details of that surfboard may vary for each of us.  That is the beauty of what is happening right now:  The plan you create for yourself will not be and cannot be the same plan as it is for me.

Virgo energy is focused on making life work.  Functionality, efficiency, effectiveness – those qualities are the order of the day, every day for VirgoCapricorn is about goals and ambitions – very results-driven.  Together, they combine to help each and all of us create a plan for how to do what needs to be done now for things to be effective in achieving our desired results.

Yet as I’ve mentioned in previous posts, Pluto in Capricorn is all about destroying the old paradigms of success and status.  The old benchmarks no longer apply, ad are being eliminated.  During this Pluto Retrograde, we are being asked to establish new standards for social status and success.  The challenge is that we must do this individually before a collective pattern can emerge as the new standard.

So…what is important to YOU?  How do you define success for yourself?  How do you recognize when your life is working for you?

These may be better questions to ask to narrow things down:

  • What do YOU resources do you need to attain or have in place in order to feel like you can handle whatever is coming to you in the ever-changing constant of life?
  • Knowing that the old ways no longer serve, can you now figure out what is really and truly important to you in your life?
  • What makes you feel successful, whether or not anyone else agrees with you?
  • What tangible outcomes prove to you that you are on the right path for you or that you belong where you are or where you are going?

The thing is that the plan that works for you is NOT a plan that will work for someone else.  Thanks to Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn, the days of doing what everybody else is doing or having people tell you what success is are gone.  There is no quick fix or “one size fits all” package, product, promotion, or program that will work for everyone.  There are no gurus or masters that can tell you how to live your life.  You actually get to customize this plan you are creating to fit YOUR unique needs.

This Virgo Sun trine Capricorn Pluto planning opportunity requires that you make the effort to get real about who you are, where your life stands now, and what you are committed to creating for yourself.  Without clarity of your truth based in the practical reality of your life, you cannot create or execute an effective plan.

From there, continuing in true Virgo fashion, it will take more effort from you in order to put your plan into action.  The plan doesn’t simply happen after you create it.  You actually have to implement the plan yourself.

Of course, you may find that as you apply your effort in practical ways, once others understand and see that you are indeed making headway, they will be more eager to help.  Then, this strange phenomenon occurs – the more work you do, the more help you get.  The more you work the plan, the less according to plan in the best possible way.  The Universe seems to rally behind you when you are willing to do the work yourself in order to get the results you want to have.  And before you know it, the results that make Capricorn happy might be achieved.

This trine lays the foundation for this effective rally.  The plans you make now have every promise of manifestation and satisfaction.  All you need to do during this Virgo Sun trine Capricorn Pluto Retrograde is the work necessary to make those plans and to plot your course.  When you’re ready to set those plans in motion (possibly during the New Moon in Virgo later this week on the 5th), you can be confident that you are working toward can be a success.

Mars in Gemini square Neptune Retrograde in Pisces – Take Action and Enjoy the Ride

This is a big one, as Mars in Gemini – acting upon your thoughts and ideas – came into square transit with Neptune Retrograde in Pisces – your ideals, visions, and dreams exact at 4:57p PDT yesterday, June 7th, 2013, calling upon you to recognize how taking actions upon your ideas may be challenged by how you envision the matter you are taking action for coming about in your life.

From roughly Wednesday, June 5th though Monday, June 10th, you may notice that  a few things may be happening in your life that are challenging you to let go of what you believe should be happening in certain areas of your life.  These happenings may be minor or major, depending on how the transit affects your personal chart.

Nevertheless, you may realize that you are taking actions expecting things to go a certain way, only to realize that it’s not going to happen the way you wanted.

When you act solely upon your vision rather than allowing your vision to simply inspire you, you may miss out on what actually comes into your life to help you manifest your vision.  This is because you may have become so invested in the process looking a specific way that you don’t notice the opportunities that open up for you to get you where you want to go.

It’s like looking at a closed door so intently out of belief that it is the door you must go through to have what you want, only that you don’t notice that two other doors opened up in the same room that allow you to walk through to your ultimate desired destination.

This square transit of Mars and Neptune Retrograde will challenge you to notice if you are looking at the closed door, or if you are aware of the others opening.  It may also challenge you to ask yourself if you do notice the open doors, why are you so determined to open the one that is closed?

Taking action is one thing, but taking action on an opportunity that is not available is another.  If you’ve knocked a few times and you’re made no progress, maybe looking for another way to get where you want to go isn’t such a bad idea.  However, it may occur to you as bad if you are attached to the process looking a particular way.

Instead of waiting for the door on the left to open and allow you to go to where you want to go because you believe it should be the door on the left, notice that a door on your right that is open has a sign over it that says “the way to your dream”.  Understand that it really doesn’t matter if the door is on the left or the right – if you know in your heart that it’s the door that gets you there, walk through it!  Take action on the opportunity or the ideas that are coming to you or that are already available to you NOW!

Stop waiting for the door you think should be open, or the offer that should be coming to you, or the phone call, text, or e-mail message that you think you deserve to receive, or…well, any of that!  If you’ve been waiting and if it hasn’t happened the way you think it should, it’s probably time to look somewhere else for what you want.

Also recognize what is fact and what is fantasy.  Mars in Gemini will encourage you to act upon your logic, while Neptune in Pisces, even while retrograde, may encourage you to follow a fantasy that may be extremely unrealistic.  (In other words, Brad Pitt is not going to leave Angelina Jolie and their brood of children for you.  Sorry.)

I am not saying give up on your dream.  I am saying give up when you think it should happen, where it should happen, how it should look while it happens, why it should be happening, and/or who it should be.  Let go of those details and trust the process.

By allowing the Universe to answer your prayers exactly how you’ve asked for them to show up in it its own way, you may get what your heart truly desires in the end.  Remember – the outcome is what matters.  The journey is what happens so that you will appreciate that outcome.

Mars in Gemini square Neptune Retrograde in Pisces  encourages you to take action on the opportunities available to you now, then let go of the wheel and let the Universe drive.  You may be surprised how easily things come about once you give up control of every little detail by paying attention to what opens up around you, and trusting you are being given access to or opportunities to receive everything you need to get you exactly where you want to go.

So. take actions and enjoy the ride.

Thank you for reading and sharing Signs and Numbers.  Until next post…

Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius – Whatcha Got To Say? – Part One: Clarifying Your Truth

Mercury in Sagittarius begins to move in retrograde motion on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 at 3:04p PST.  Mercury in Sagittarius tends to have a pretty blunt delivery of the truth of matters, and usually doesn’t hesitate to share exactly what is on its mind.

However, for this next 9 days or so, it’s not about the sharing quite yet.  While Mercury moves in retrograde motion, it’s more about recognizing what you have to share with others and getting clear about it before you share it with others.

Sagittarius is the wise teacher, the mentor of the Zodiac.  It has learned from its experiences, and wants to share what it has learned with others.  Out of its experiences, it also gains a great deal of wisdom, and often its philosophy about life changes as it goes along in its life journey.  This philosophy is something that Sagittarius also wants to share with others, not so much to gather a following, but to share what it has come to know as truth.

The Truth is of ultimate importance to Sagittarius.  In fact, truth trumps all other matters where Sagittarius is concerned.  It’s not worth doing or talking about if it doesn’t get you closer to the truth – the real truth, and nothing but the real truth.  That is what Sagittarius is always searching for and striving for – the ultimate knowledge and sharing of the truest of truths.

That said, with Mercury going retrograde in Sagittarius,  there is some soul-searching to be done in these next 9 days or so before Mercury goes back into Scorpio in this cycle of retrograde motion.  There is time to consider what rings true to you and what does not. There is some time to also consider what you have learned to be true and what truths you really do have to share with others.

Sagittarius Mercury in retrograde will also present you with opportunities to communicate those truths to others before Mercury returns to direct motion to move you forward and beyond your past.

It has been my experience that Mercury Retrograde is not only an introspective time – it is also a “do-over” opportunity.  It gives you a chance to communicate what you didn’t say the first time or to receive what you didn’t get the first time around.

However, if you are starting something during a Mercury Retrograde, often some aspect of it (if not all of it) will come around again or need to be re-done (done over again).

Mercury Retrograde can also bring challenges in communication and technology as well, but I’ve found that these tend to occur when you are trying to avoid or ignore an important lesson or fact that you need to know or address.   In this case of Mercury in Sagittarius, consider which truths you may be avoiding or resisting – ones that you’d rather not face and/or deal with.

So as you look over your life in the next week or so while Mercury Retrograde is in the sign of Sagittarius, consider what is true for you in your life.  Ask yourself:

  • Does this ring true for me?  If so, why?  If not, why?
  • What truth(s) may I be avoiding or resisting, and why?
  • Is it my truth…or someone else’s truth?
  • Am I afraid to share this truth with another person or people?  If so, why?
  • What could someone else learn or gain from my sharing my life experience with them?
  • What can I communicate now that I thought or felt that I couldn’t before?
  • What opportunities are opening for me to share with others to complete my past and clear the way for now and next to emerge in my life?

All of these are very powerful questions you can ask yourself and your closest friends and loved ones to make the most of this Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius.

The timing of this Mercury Retrograde is especially interesting…at least for those of us here in the United States.

That said…on to part two!  (See the next post…coming shortly.)

Full Moon in Aries – Relationships Worth Fighting For

After all of the planning and preparation of the last few weeks, the first Full Moon of Autumn – ‘the Harvest Moon’ – has arrived.  It’s time to reap what we’ve sown over these last few months…in our relationships and therefore, in our lives.

With Full Moon in Aries this evening, Saturday September 29th, we get the chance to see who we have been being in our relationships.  Like the Libra Sun reflects its light off of the full shape of the Moon, our one-on-one relationships are reflecting themselves in who we are as individuals within those partnerships.

Libra is a sign known for making things look good.  It does everything it can to create a pleasing aesthetic – a beautiful outward appearance.  This desire to present a pleasing aesthetic is also very present in its relationships, as Libra energy likes to make sure that everyone thinks its relationships are strong, balanced, and look good.

But  just because the relationships look good doesn’t always mean they are.  In fact, most real relationships aren’t always as pretty on the inside as they may look on the outside or going as smoothly as their participants may describe them to be.  Every partnership of any kind has its challenges.  And I don’t say that as a pessimist, but as an optimist.

That is what this Full Moon in Aries is all about – the challenges that help you assess the beauty and strength of a relationship.   It is your willingness to face those challenges head on with courageous and honest actions that reveals whether or not you believe that the partnership is worth fighting for.

The relationships you that you take action to establish or sustain are the ones that are actually important to you.  They are the ones you have deemed worth fighting for on some level of your consciousness – the ones that you find yourself wanting to apply effort and energy toward and that you can be completely open, honest and vulnerable in.  These are the relationships worth facing the challenges for, and are ones that are (or can become) beautiful and strong.

But if you’d rather avoid or ignore the challenges in some of your relationships, or if you find you can’t (or won’t) express yourself openly and honestly within them, the relationships probably aren’t worth the fight.  These are relationships that are usually shallow, superficial, or purely practical in some way, and often stand upon only one or two of the following foundations – sexual chemistry, physical appearance, information or gossip gathering, emotional dependency or neediness, and/or financial-material security, convenience, or dependency.

That said, if you believe certain relationships to be important to you but you are not taking actions to genuinely establish or sustain them, ask yourself:

  • What is missing in those relationships that has you avoid taking actions in them?
  • If that missing element were there, would the relationship have everything else you need for that relationship to feel complete, balanced, and fulfilling for you?
  • What are you afraid of finding, experiencing or revealing about yourself in that relationship that has you avoid taking actions to initiate it or sustain it?
  • What has you stay in a relationship that has something so important to you missing from it?  And where do you find yourself going (or what do you find yourself doing) in order to fulfill that missing need?

But remember – the answers to those questions are important, but this Full Moon in Aries phase is not all about you.  The Sun is in Libra, so this is about you in relationship and partnership. Other people are involved.

And as the Moon in Aries enters is fullest phase (exact at 8:19p PDT), you become more aware of the impact of your emotion-based choices on those other people – on your partners in your relationships of all kinds.  Your deepest and truest feelings about your relationships and your own emotionally protective motives within them are revealed to you at this time.

With Aries representing action and assertiveness, your actions will especially tell the truth on you at this time, revealing how your real and true feelings may be in alignment with or may be contrary to what you think or say your partnerships to be.  This is a prime opportunity for you to see which relationships are really as important to you as you say they are.  It is also a time for you to see if the partnerships you have in your life are balanced and pleasing for you and the other party(s) involved.

This may seem like an intense and laborious process for such a brief moment in time (1-2 days)…and it is.  Yet based on upcoming events (Venus moving into Virgo, Mercury and Saturn both moving into Scorpio, Mars into Sagittarius all within the next week), it is a process worth undertaking for the remainder of this 2012 Libra Sun cycle to be a bit more peaceful and manageable for you.  Facing these feelings and preparing for these choices will likely be easier now than it will be later.  Later, you won’t have much time to think about them – you’ll probably be simply forced to make them in some way.  Choose while you can.

Make the most of this Full Moon in Aries cycle by choosing and doing what you can in the relationships that are important to you.  Do what you can in the best ways you can now, trusting that any other necessary changes will follow…sooner than later.

Thanks for reading and sharing.  Until next post…

Venus in Cancer – Watering Your Relationships

Venus moves out of the “perpetual student” energy of Gemini and into the “nurturing mother” energy of Cancer at 6:43a PDT on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012.

Venus is the planetary representative of one-on-one relationships of all kinds.  It is the ambassador of partnership, which is why it is also usually associated with the ideals of love and beauty.  However, Venus is considered the ruler of Libra – an air sign.  Air is mental energy – intellect, detachment, objectivity.  It is an important distinction to make as beauty and love are often in the eye of the beholder.  Therefore, love is often what we make it, and what we make it is often what we think it should be rather than how it may actually show up or what it actually is.

Sometimes, our perceptions of love and beauty aren’t really even our own, but rather are someone else’s ideals of love and beauty that we have adopted as our own. It is very important for us to get in touch with what is real and True for us as individuals so we can find our true partners in all areas of our lives.  In knowing what genuinely resonates as lovely and beautiful to us as individuals, we can then seek out the company of others with truly like minds and hearts.

When we remind ourselves that love is objective and unconditional, then we can embrace our relationships for what they are, and we can embrace the people we are in relationship with for who they are instead of trying to change them or make them into something they are not.  It is when we accept others as they are that we are open to the Truth and actuality of Love, we are open to beauty in all its forms, and we allow ourselves to receive and embrace the expressions of love and beauty which come into our lives.

That said, with Venus entering the sign of Cancer, we revisit Cancer’s nurturing, caring and protective energy.  With Venus in this sign, we may find ourselves being called upon to nurture and protect the relationships and partnerships that are important to us and which bring a healthy and balanced exchange of love and beauty into our lives.

Venus in Cancer is much like caring for plants.

If you don’t water a plant, it dies.  If you over-water a plant, it dies.  So it is important to water the plant, yet also important not to water it too much.

Water is often associated with emotional energy in the Zodiac and Tarot.  Therefore, if we think of the water in the plant analogy as the emotions in our relationships:

  • If we nurture and care for our relationships – if we give them just enough of the emotional attention (“water”) they need – then they can thrive.
  • However, if we don’t give them enough emotional attention we may find that those relationships dry up and disappear from our lives, or sometimes, if we give them too much emotional attention, we can overwhelm them with so much care or protection that it’s too much and they feel the need to escape from our lives.

In this Leo 4 period, the energy is such where we are being called upon to establish and/or define the foundations or structures that support us in shining our unique expressions of Light into the world.  When we bring Venus in Cancer in to that mix, it is important for us to notice the relationships that we are “watering” in our lives.

  • Which ones do we say are important to us, yet we don’t nurture and protect?
  • Which ones do we say are not important to us, yet we find ourselves giving plenty of emotional attention to?
  • Which ones do we find ourselves nurturing and protecting even though they may be non-supportive, detrimental or destructive to our unique expression?
  • And which ones do we find we are trying to kill off even though they may be encouraging and supporting us to shine our individual Light brightly out into the world?

Recognize the roles that others are playing for you in your life.  Distinguish if they are a positive, healthy and genuinely supportive influence in your life, or if they are a negative or unhealthy influence for you, detracting from what you are committed to creating in your life.

Also notice if you have any resistance to people who want to support, nurture, and/or protect you and your expression of your True self out into the world.  If you are resisting, ask yourself why.

  • What are your fears or aversions to receiving this support from others?
  • What are you afraid of giving up or letting go of in your life in order to receive the support you really need to grow and succeed in your expression of your unique and individual self?
  • Is what you say you are committed to creating really in alignment with who you truly are, or are you resisting because you are adopting someone else’s ideals of love and beauty as your own and deep down you know it is not true to who you are or want to be?

There is a lot to consider as you move forward through the remainder of this Venus in Cancer cycle which continues through September 6th.   It’s a quick trip through a very important period of 2012.  I hope awareness of the energy available to you helps you make the most of this precious opportunity to establish a solid support structure for the next steps of your life’s journey.

Water the “plants” that are important to you.  Help them grow…and know that you’re helping yourself grow in the process.

Until next post…

New Moon in Cancer – Companions for the Journey

The Moon enters its next New phase in the sign of Cancer at 9:42p PDT on Wednesday, July 18th, 2012.

This New Moon in Cancer is occurring near the end of the Cancer Sun cycle rather than the beginning, following the Full Moon in Capricorn earlier in the Cancer Sun cycle.  What’s interesting about this order of events is that by experiencing the Capricorn Full Moon first, we’ve been nudged by the Universe to set goals and ambitions for ourselves – to make decisive choices about where we want to go, how we want our lives to be, and who we want to have along with us for the journey as our companions and champions.

Now is the time for us to begin taking the steps to manifest the fulfillment of our goals and intentions clarified since the Full Moon, and in doing so, it is time for us to nurture, support and protect what is emotionally important to us as we pursue those outward ambitions.

This is a perfect time to check in with ourselves regarding the new goals, new intentions and new beginnings we’ve created in and for our lives:

  • What have you started recently?
  • What seeds have you planted for your future?
  • How can you make sure your new beginnings get the support, encouragement and protection they need to grow in healthy and positive ways?

In answering these questions for yourself, you may find yourself being more aware than usual of your emotional support structure – the people in your life who help you become aware of how you feel and who support you and encourage you in the times when your life is changing dramatically (for both better and worse) or you’re your circumstances are challenging you intensely.

During this Cancer New Moon, you will likely become more aware of who is helping you or hindering you in developing healthy emotional expressions and healthy emotional support structures in your pursuit of your goals and ambitions.  And as we approach the Sun’s entrance into Leo on Sunday, July 22nd, you may also more clearly recognize the people in your life who are (or can) support and encourage you in shining your unique and individual Light out into the world.

For those of us who have not yet clearly defined our goals or intentions, this may be a very challenging time as we realize our lack of support and encouragement, recognize our inability to nurture or protect what is emotionally important to us, or notice that opportunities to seize and achieve our goals may be passing us by.  It will be important for us to ask for what we need to feel emotionally supported, nurtured, and protected as we move forward.

For those of us who have gotten clear about where we are going and what we want to achieve and accomplish, this may be a remarkably easy time as our emotional support structure roots us on.  We feel capable of nurturing and protecting what is emotionally important to us.  We seize the opportunities presented to us and feel like we are on the road toward the fulfillment of our goals and life purpose.  It will be important for us to continue to communicate our emotional needs clearly.

Keep in mind that Mercury is in retrograde, and that we are still in a “do-over” period regarding our communications and the information we are receiving.  You may find yourself addressing, correcting or clarifying past communications in order to “course-correct” and set a clear direction for your next life steps that is more in alignment with your inner truth.  You may also find that certain communications, choices and/or commitments made now may need to be revisited at a later date – that something about them isn’t as clear or complete as believed in this moment, yet even those things will help you become more clear about how to .

In whichever form it comes, all of the information you are receiving and revisiting right now during this Cancer New Moon is helping you identify who and what is emotionally supporting, encouraging and protecting you right now in this time of your life.  Allow these elements of your support structure to reveal themselves.  Allow yourself to notice them, and to be objective in assessing them.

And once you have distinguished who and what is coming along for your life journey, welcome them into your life as your companions and friends – maybe even as your “family” of sorts – as you travel your chosen path.  Allow yourself to let your guard down and allow those people to be there for you as you move forward on your life’s path.

Enjoy this New Moon phase.  Until next post…

The Sun-Venus Transit in Gemini – Both Sides Now

Venus is often associated with love and romance and femininity.  However, when I take note of what the planet is traditionally supposed to represent, and note that it is the ruling planet of Libra (the scales), which is an air sign (mental energy), I find it rather humorous that Venus is so romanticized.

If anything, in my experience as an astrologer-numerologist, I’ve learned that Venus and is about affinity and partnership, and that Venus can assess those subjects with remarkable emotional detachment (objectivity).  Venus can bring ease, blessings, and positive energy to matters, and its energy is usually focused on matters of aesthetic beauty (and our perceptions of it), reciprocation and the balancing of two entities – qualities which greatly influence the health and wellness of one-on-one partnerships of any kind.

Venus and the Sun conjunct each other rather regularly through a year in various signs. So astrologically, it can be a major event but it usually isn’t rare.  But this time, Venus astronomically transits the Sun for what will be the last time this century yesterday and today, Tuesday, June 5th and 6th.  Due to this and other recent major astronomical events, this particular Sun-Venus conjunction has a strong astrological influence as well.

Like the afore-mentioned sign of Libra, Gemini is also an air sign – the “perpetual student” of the Zodiac.  With Venus Retrograde transiting the Sun, both at 15°-16° Gemini, it is interesting to have the planet of objective affinity and partnership in conjunction with the Sun bringing Light to information and knowledge that enriches our internal intellectual and communicative processes.

In this dual sign of Gemini (a.k.a. – “the twins”), we get to see both sides of our situations, thoughts, beliefs, and communications.  This transit gives us a wonderful opportunity to observe and discuss the one-on-one partnerships in our lives (both actual and desired), and to assess the Truths we have come to learn and know about them and ourselves within them with some degree of emotional detachment. This is a welcome influence, especially after the powerful emotion of the New Moon-Eclipse in Gemini a few weeks ago and the afterglow of the hyper-emotional energy of the Full Moon in Sagittarius on Monday.

In taking the moment to step back and see it all more clearly under this Sun-Venus transit influence, our conversations and communications with others (or lack thereof) may be guiding us into a true understanding of what is meant by “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” – looking at the relationships throughout our lives objectively to see which ones really and truly align with who we say we are and what we want and need and which ones don’t, and which ones are really bringing out the best and most beautiful in us, and which ones aren’t.

Though Venus is usually an influence of grace, ease and positive energy, it may not feel like it at times during this transit.  There may be a bit of pain and suffering as the long-unacknowledged Truths about people we are in relationship with and/or not-so-pretty elements of those relationships come to Light.  It’s amazing what we are almost forced to see and accept when our emotions aren’t calling the shots – when we can see ourselves from the outside in and realize, understand and admit to those aspects of ourselves and our relationships where what we or others think and say is not in alignment with what we actually believe or do.

Yet in those revelations and realizations come blessings – some clear, some in disguise.  In seeing both or all sides of the people and circumstances involved, it’s a wonderful thing to be able to make fully informed and balanced choices which consider both the emotional and objective points of view.  We may gain clarity about the exchanges and relationships we want to commit to and see through. We may also realize that we may need to let go of partnerships which do more harm than good to whom we are and what we want to create in our lives.

So in light of this Sun-Venus transit in Gemini, remember the following:

  • In effective “spring cleaning”, keep what you use and/or what serves you well;  give away or throw away what you don’t.
  • Letting go of the old and untrue makes room for something new and true to come into your life.
  • “If you love something, set it free; if it comes backs it’s yours, if it doesn’t, it never was.” – Richard Bach

Enjoy the day, Until next post…

Mercury Direct – “Go Confidently…”

Mercury went direct in Pisces this morning at 3:11a PDT.  All I can say on this one is *Whew!*.

It was an especially powerful Mercury Retrograde.  Probably because in combination with Sun in Aries (the sign of action and assertiveness), it gave us a chance to reflect – to truly revisit or confront our recent actions and behaviors, then assess whether or not those actions and behaviors really align with our ideals and visions of ourselves and our lives.

With Mercury going direct in Pisces on its way back into Aries, we now have a chance to establish clarity about our visions and intentions for our next steps in life.  And when Mercury reenters Aries on April 16th, we’ll really have the opportunities to convert our visionary ideas into actions to support them.

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imaginedIf one advances confidently in the direction of one’s dreams, and endeavors to live the life which one has imagined, one will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.” – Henry David Thoreau

For us to be able to make our dreams the reality of our lives, we must be able to align our actions and words with our thoughts and ideas.  Some examples:

  • If you say that you want to take a class, but you never take action to register, how can you take the class?
  • If you say that you want to win the lottery but you never buy a ticket, how are you going to win?
  • If you say that you want to date someone, but you never share your feelings or ask them out, how do you get the date?

The point being, for us to manifest the lives and lifestyles we envision for ourselves, we must be willing to take actions to support those dreams and visions.  Otherwise, all they ever will be are dreams and visions.

So, now that Mercury is direct again…and now that you’ve had a few weeks to re-consider the alignment of your dreams and actions, what are the plans you are creating and starting to take action for yourself and your life?  What seeds are you planting through your actions and words?

Keep in mind – NOT taking action or speaking up also plants seeds.  You may be planting seeds of missed opportunity, closing doors that have been opened to you that you didn’t know (or refused to acknowledge) are open to you.  Like the examples above attest to, if you want something to happen, you need to take action.

And in taking action, it needs to be confident action.  There needs to be clear intention behind it.  That is why the clarity is so important. If you are clear about what you want, then you take actions from that place of clarity, you have no second guesses about your actions or words.  You have no concerns about whether or not what you are doing is moving you toward your dreams and goals.  Clarity gives you the confidence to stand behind your actions and words.

So make the most of this time of “planting seeds” by confidently taking the first steps to manifest your dreams and visions.  Say what you need to say, do what you need to do to move in the direction of your dreams.  Be confident and direct in the direct motion of Mercury.

Until next post…
